Charmian brought 15 years of marketing experience with her when she created MilesFurther in 2002.
She was previously Senior Vice President, Director of Account Planning at D'Arcy in Los Angeles. Prior to that she held
senior planning positions at TBWA Chiat Day, BBDO and Publicis Hal Riney. She also had a brief stint on the client side
as a brand manager for Bacardi in Germany.
Charmian's bi-cultural upbringing gives her the unique ability to fit in and feel comfortable in both British and German
cultures and to explain the oddities of each to the other side.
She has an insatiable curiosity for people and what makes them tick. She has an unstoppable, infectious enthusiasm for
qualitative and quantitative market research. She digs deep into data for insights with the same devotion and
determination with which she runs (and enjoys!) marathons.
